United States History is an upper level course offering a comprehensive view of the major events, movements, and happenings of the United States of America. Over the course of the school year we will discuss, analyze, and interpret nearly four hundred years of American history.
The range of this course includes (but is not limited to) pre-United States colonial settlement, the American Revolution, the birth of the new nation, westward expansion, the Civil War, Reconstruction, Industrialization, the Great Depression, World War II and the Holocaust, the Cold War, the Vietnam era, and the modern period
